Operation Christmas Child

Empty Shoebox Collection: May-July

Item Collection: Summer – Early November

Packing Party: Mid-November

Help us pack over 200 shoeboxes for our Operation Christmas Child drive! Items such as bar soap, small toys, crayons, coloring books, washcloths, hair items and brushes/combs, etc. are always being collected. There is also a need for $7 per shoe box to cover shipping and processing costs (the $7 is sent to Operation Christmas Child).

We hope you can join us for our packaging event, held each year in November, to share the joy of Christmas with a child who may have never received a gift before! Adults and children of all ages are invited! It’s a great way to kick off the Christmas Season and remind a child about the true meaning of Christmas!

Rise Against Hunger/Stop Hunger Now

Every two years, we participate in a 10,000 meal packing event for Rise Against Hunger (formerly Stop Hunger Now). It’s a great way for us to be the hands and feet of God, spreading His love throughout the world while fulfilling a basic human need in the fight against hunger.

Local School Supplies Drive

Each August, we challenge our congregation to collect at least 50 backpacks filled with supplies that go to children in need at one of our local elementary schools.

We also support several missionaries and other programs through the United Methodist Church.
